Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West Hosts Successful New Member Orientation Seminar.
The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West hosted a splendid District New Membership Orientation Seminar on the 11th of August, at the prestigious Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries Hall, marking a memorable day for the Ahmedabad region.
The event saw an impressive turnout, with 165 enthusiastic members registering from 36 different clubs, each eager to embrace the Rotary spirit.
The day commenced at 8:30 AM with a delightful breakfast and fellowship, setting a warm and inviting tone for the gathering. By 9:30 AM, the members had assembled in the grand auditorium, where the air buzzed with anticipation and camaraderie.
The seminar was graced by the presence of 15 distinguished Rotarians, who generously shared their wisdom on the systems, processes, and core values of Rotary, offering invaluable guidance to the newly inducted members.
DGN Rtn Naimish Ravani, serving as the esteemed representative of the District Governor, officially called the meeting to order, lending a sense of gravitas to the proceedings.
Event Chair Rtn Kiran Patel extended a heartfelt welcome to all attendees, expressing gratitude for their presence and commitment to the Rotary cause.
The program was enriched by insightful speakers from various clubs and Assistant Governors (AGs), who eloquently addressed a wide array of subjects. Topics such as the “Magic of Rotary,” “Know Your District,” “The Rotary Foundation (TRF),” and benefits of Rotary membership were discussed.
ADLF Bhanu Gupta from the host club informed about various rotary programs.each presentation inspiring the audience with the power and potential of Rotary’s global network.
Panel discussions and the active participation of new members through feedback sessions added an engaging and interactive dimension to the seminar. This collaborative exchange of ideas and experiences deepened the sense of community among the attendees, making the event not just informative but profoundly meaningful.
A special highlight of the day was the involvement of Rotarians’ children, who served as the Masters of Ceremony (MOCs) with charm and poise, adding a personal and familial touch to the proceedings.
The seminar concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by President Rtn Jatinderkaur Bhalla, who expressed sincere appreciation for the contributions of all involved.
The day’s formalities were followed by a sumptuous lunch, where members continued to connect and share, further strengthening the bonds of fellowship that define the Rotary experience.
